The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. That’s what one APSC employee told us. Basically it is too early to give an exact date. I agree wid u regarding ur thought of approachnig Chairman over d issue of abnormal scores in certain subjects.A clear cut difference of 120 marks!! It makes all d diference. I m not saying no one should deserve such high marks…but not by almost all. I doubt how many have cleared wid Socio n Eco(i thought eco to b as coring subject…got 65 prcnt last tym bt dis tym with almost same quality of answers i got 35 prcnt!!!)
Why the hell r all interested in marks and all …? R u fools,,, to let others laugh over ur own misfortune for not being able to
lay down ur prestige in front of corrupted people ? Be a follower of Anu… religion… those who r sitting for the next mains and gud luck…!!!!

i certainly agree with pranjal whatever he has said regarding abnormally low scores in sociology and also in education,how can such huge difference happen in scoring pattern as this simply destroys one’s chances,a somewhat level playing field is essential,i am thinking of going to submit an application in apsc office ,i need some support.Also admin can something be done regarding huge discrimination ?any advice.
Truely said ….apart from back door entry factor …unprecedented marks infact unbelievable marks in History papers lower d moral of candidates with other optionals ..if doesn’t raise n e doubt..
Apsc is no level playing ground for sure…luck matters a lot if u r not passing d buck..
@ishan,
We want to see the official documents before publishing any data. That’s why the delay.
@all interested candidates,
RTI cell is disclosing both the individual scores and cutoff marks. If you want and if it is possible, visit RTI cell with a copy of your admit card. You’ll get all the details. If you want to see your answer booklets, submit an RTI application. Careless checking of answer sheets is not uncommon.
