APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.
APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.

Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. my score is 871.cleared the mains under open category being an st(p) candidate. but still felt sort of 24 marks to get into the post of dto. wah re wah.

@ Randip, We need that affidavit now to let the court intervene. Feeling so helpless ! How can we write the next upcoming mains without first settling this mess?? Its so clear by now that the jobs were sold for money. I just wrote to the Hon’ble PM to look into the matter ASAP because till now what I have found is that no national newspapers are talking about this issue. We should seek central help because like this, matters will get worse with the state govt taking no concrete steps. I request others to please do the same. This entire list needs to be scrapped at the earliest.

@ RANDIP, This entire exam should have been cancelled just after the declaration of the preliminary results. The preliminary results itself were based on wrong answer keys. Whoever prepared those answer keys I wonder how can they be just so lax in their attitude as to give wrong answer keys ??? So can you imagine how insincere these bastards would have been while checking our mains answer sheets ! This is just all money game ! No merit counts and neither it will ever count howsoever we write our best this time. BLOODY POWER-HUNGRY POLITICIANS ! They get themselves elected on our votes and deceive us ! I have even come to know of people who didnt even write the exam and are presently ACS officers under the Govt. of Assam. What a Shame MR. CM ! How can we expect to improve administration when at the entry stage itself there is nothing but just the competititon of money power ???Patna high court once cancelled the entire exam just because the preliminary results were based on wrong answer keys. Basing the results on wrong answer keys itself means already many deserving candidates were wiped out in the preliminary stage itself. Why cannot it happen in Assam which happened in Patna ??? Tv room discussions and thrashing APSC sounds good, but nothing can happen without concrete proof. We need good evidence to prove it in court only then can we unite and get the entire exam scrapped. Or may be we can write to PM Modi. May be something can work out..

D Chairman was laughing today during an interview…he knows nothing can happen….he got d support of our C.M…wow what a democracy!!! Lets not blame him itz our own C.M who betrayed us…till today I thought him as a good C.M…D guy who got 5 th rank as ACS , got 1st position in senior information officer…u know he scored d least in written conducted by apsc 45/100 n got highest in viva 89/100. And apsc selected those who got highest marks in viva(written marks not counted….alas!!!!!)..his name started n end with P.S….give a little thought on it how he got such high marks in mains 1400 which he could not get in 100 marks of senior information officer(written)!!!!just few months ago….
@Ankita,its a open secret that huge bribe has been paid by many candidates.HC should scrap on the ground that thdre were many wrong answer keys in prelims.APSC in their affidavit has accepted the same.We should contact mr.Manas Pratim Baruah and others who are still fighting this battle.They r our only hope as chances of getting evidences sgainst APSC is not so easy.This exam should be scrapped and the money paid by aspir@nts in bribe should go waste.they should get a lesson.join the FACEBOOK GROUP-FIGHT AGAINST INJUSTICE OF APSC
