APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.
APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.

Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. Friends APSC has lived up to its scandalous image once again. So nothing shocking about it.. My only concern is can it be proved in court? These notorious people must have planned their act & tried to mitigate any risk of getting exposed..if the answers were written outside the examination Hall, can it be proved? If the examinee wrote the best possible answers after getting the question paper well in advance, can it be proved? I don’t have any knowledge regarding this. Probably anyone with legal knowledge can best answer it.. Even the newspapers who have reported these anomalies seem unconvinced about any suitable legal outcome..
The only thing I am sure about is that the genuineness of the caste certificates which are in question can be verified.. Even if that is found out to be fake, can the court find APSC at fault and dismiss the entire merit list on that ground.. Again I am not sure..

This fake selection list should be dismissed by the court immediately. Otherwise Assam would turn into the kingdom of fools. Always seen in the national platform( where I hv to work with very highly educated people) the mockery of Assam’s officers ,corrupted activities and unwillingness to work. So thought, being an Assamese why not try to become one myself and see the lacunae inside it. But the very intellectual APSC panel of viva did not find any quality of a civil servant in me . Raj for that to happen only way out would be to contact abhijeet sarma who will file a case in high court against the authenticity,many students have contacted him.
Newspapers are citing reports that some students have applied with fake SC ST certificate. Now, many people also possess fake disability certificate. Despite their disability not being 40% they take out a certificate. Is there any way the authenticity of the disability certificate of the PWD candidates can be checked?

Dear all, all of you are aware about the APSC way of conduct of exam for civil service. News also coming up in news channel about corruption in 2013 mains. we all talk about it after exam and stop after passing of few days. all we know that after writing good answer expected candidate are not getting their expected mark. but why this happen? do you ever think? most important problem is paper checking. APSC mains answer script are not checked at apsc office but send to evaluator at home or university or college. so here there is high possibility of corruption in paper checking. paper should be checked at apsc office itself which is not happening over the year regarding apsc mains exam. so request to all of you to give some thought about this problem ……………
