Answer Key – APSC Prelims 2014 General Studies Paper

Find here the answer key of APSC Prelims 2014. The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducted Combined Competitive (CCE) (Preliminary) on September 28, 2014. Yesterday we examined the General Studies question paper. In our opinion it was a scoring paper. Several questions are basic General Knowledge type. Polity questions are not that tough or approachable. The reasoning questions (8 nos) are easy. As expected there are several Assam related questions. Those who didn’t studied Assam history and geography, might find them tough.

Anyway, we solved 90% of the General Studies question paper in 1 hour (that’s why called it a scoring one). Now it’s your turn to calculate or estimate your score! Following is the answer key (from Assams.info, not official) of the General Studies paper (Series A) of APSC Prelims 2014. Match the answers with yours.

  • Hello guys, I have an illogical doubt in my mind which came from my
surrounding buddies and was finding someone to ask about!!!…..Is it true that during the final selection of officers by APSC, the board members don’t select a BENGALI guy rather they prefer to select only ASSAMESE guys as future officers in Assam!!!….please suggest me soon as I have to start preparing for APSC..

  • The delay in release of results for CSP 2014 is beyond logical thought. When UPSC can check 5,00,000 OMR sheets and process and tabulate results within 45 days, wonder what ails our APSC, considering that the number of OMR sheets to be evaluated would be in the range 20-30,000 only. Discrepancies in answer keys is another worrying factor.
