Garampani Wildlife Sanctuary, Assam

The Garampani Wildlife Sanctuary in Karbi Anglong district of Assam is famous for its numerous hot water springs. It is located at 25 kms from Golaghat town and 65 kms from the Kaziranga National Park. Garampani Wild Life Sanctuary is one of the oldest sanctuaries in Assam. Besides the hot water springs, it is also the home to various wildlife species including Tiger, Leopard, Elephant, Deer, Golden Langur, Hoolock Gibbons and a variety of birds & reptiles.

Garampani Wildlife Sanctuary is well connected via road. The nearest railway junction is Furkating, which is about 30 kms away. The best time to visit Garampani is November to April.
