Arabic Syllabus for APSC (Mains) Examination

APSC Main Exam Arabic syllabus. Arabic is one of the selected few Modern Indian Languages that candidates may use as an optional subject in Combined Competitive (Main) Examination conducted by Assam Public Service Commission (APSC). The APSC Mains exam will have two Arabic language Question Papers. First paper will consist of Poetry and Prose. The Second Question Paper will cover history of Arabic literature & language, grammar, essay etc. Following is the complete Arabic Question Paper I and Arabic Question Paper II syllabus for APSC Main Examination.

Part – II (History of Arabic Language & Literature) :
GROUP A : History of Arabic Language : Its origin and development.
GROUP B : History of Arabic Literature : From the beginning of Pre-Islamic period upto end of Abbasid Dynasty i.e. upto 1258 A.D.

Note:

  • The candidates are expected to answer critical questions on the authors and the poets as well as the General Characteristics of the Literature.
  • The candidates will be required to answer some questions carrying not less than 25 percent marks in Arabic.
