  • Thanks a lot for your prompt reply :)

  • @jhonny depp,
We referred data from Birdlife International and some research projects. In recent years, a good amount of White-winged wood ducks were spotted in Nameri. Population size in Nameri was estimated to be more than 200 (Das and Deori, 2012). Total population in India is around 300–350 (Islam and Rahmani, 2002) or 450 (Choudhury, 2000). No data available on headcount in Dibru-saikhowa. But it is sure that one of the reasons of creation of Dibru-saikhowa was this endangered bird. Then the bird is also found in Arunachal, Nagaland and Meghalaya (Birdlife International). Maybe Dibru-saikhowa has the largest population of White-winged wood duck. But Nameri is also not far behind.

We picked A (Nameri) as the correct answer. But we forgot that the question was not about the head count or highest population! Both Dibru-Saikhowa and Nameri are correct answers.
    Thank you.
