The rural tele-density in India is 18.97% as compared to urban tele-density of 101.38%, as on 30.09.2009. India’s expenditure on Commonwealth Games 2010 will be Rs.10555 crore

The total estimated expenditure likely to be incurred for holding Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India will be about Rs.10555 crore. The Commonwealth Games 2010 Organizing Committee has estimated that it would generate revenue of around Rs. 1708 crore from International/Domestic Broadcasting, Sponsorship, Ticketing, Licensed Merchandise, Donations etc.
