APSC Syllabus for Agricultural Development Officer (ADO) Recruitment

Paper – I (General Studies):

Degree level question paper. Objective type questions. Total 100 marks. Time is 2 hours.

Topics:

  • Current Event of National, International & State. (20 Marks)
  • Indian Economy 5 (five) years plan. (10 Marks)
  • Constitution of India. (20 Marks)
  • World Geography including India & Assam. (20 Marks)
  • Important History of World including India & Assam. (20 Marks)
  • Role and impact of Science and Technology India. (10 Marks)

Paper – II (Agriculture):

B.Sc. Agriculture (ICAR Standard) level question paper. Objective type questions. Total 100 marks. Time is 2 hours.

As announced in the advertisement released on April, 2013, APSC will recruit 80 candidates for the post of Agricultural Development Officer (ADO) under Agriculture Department in the state of Assam. The minimum qualification for the post of an ADO is B.Sc. (Agriculture) or a degree declared equivalent to B.Sc.(Agriculture) from any recognized University. The application process is already over and candidates are now waiting for the examination date.
