Actress Brittany Murphy dies at 32

US actress Brittany Murphy died on Sunday after suffering a cardiac arrest in her Los Angeles home. According to media reports, LA fire department received a medical call from Murphy’s home in West Hollywood at about 8 a.m yesterday. Murphy’s mother discovered her unconscious in the shower at the home of her husband. And two hours later, she was pronounced dead at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre near Beverly Hills.
The hospital sources have not revealed the cause of death. LAPD detectives are at the scene right now. An autopsy could be performed today to determine how the 32-year-old actress died.
Murphy, known for her roles in popular Hollywood movies such as Clueless, Just Married, Sin City and 8 Mile, was married to British screenwriter Simon Monjack. She had once dated Ashton Kutcher, who co-starred with her in the 2003 romantic comedy, Just Married. Kutcher tweeted on Sunday morning about Murphy’s death: "2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine." He added, "My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany’s family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon."
