Shiney Ahuja Case: DNA Test Confirms Rape

Indian investigators on Monday revealed that DNA test reports of rape-accused Shiney Ahuja are out and the results have confirmed that the Bollywood actor had physical relationships with his 18-year-old maid. This is a strong evidence against the Bollywood actor. Earlier, Shiney admitted Consensual Sex with his domestic help.

shiney_photo “We have received the test reports and they confirm the allegations made by the victim in the police complaint against the accused,” Amitabh Gupta, Additional Police Commissioner of Mumbai (North Region) told reporters on Monday.

The development comes a week after Shiney’s blood sample reports had had turned down his claim that he was drunk when he was accused of raping his domestic help. The blood sample report clearly mentioned that he was not drunk and was in his full senses at the time of the incident that day.

On June 14, Shiney Ahuja’s domestic help had lodged a police complaint alleging rape, based on which police arrested Shiney Ahuja. Currently the Bollywood actor is in police custody till July 2. If the charges against him are proved in court, Shiney could face a minimum seven-year jail sentence.

Last week, Shiney moved the Sessions Court for bail on the ground that “he is from a good family” and that some of his films are only half done and “need to be completed”. What nonsense? Crime like rape is nothing before his glam and reputation? Answering to the bail application, Chief Public Prosecutor RV Kini said that the application would be heard on July 3.
