Akshay in trouble after unbuttoning act

Mumbai police on Sunday registered a complaint against Bollywood action hero Akshay Kumar and his wife Twinkle Khanna for making obscene gesture publicly during Lakme India Fashion Week in Mumbai recently. The show organisers have also been charged for the incident.

Earlier the police conducted inquiry into the matter following a complaint lodged by social activist Anil Nair in the Vakola police station. Nair alleged that being an youth idol Akshay had shamed the nation with his act and he should return the Padma Shri Award he was honoured with last month.

The police found them guilty of obscene act and registered a case Against Akshaya, Twinkle and organizers under section 294 of the Indian Penal Code. Interestingly, Akshay apologised for his unbuttoning act after the complaint was filed. He said that the act was just meant to be funny and naughty and he did not intend to hurt anyone and if anyone was hurt by his act he apologises for the same.

On last Monday, mid-way between his ramp walk for designer Tarun Tahiliani, Akshay had asked his wife Twinkle Khanna to unbutton his jeans. How all this happened? Read on to find out.

It was an exclusive Levi’s show on the day 4 of Lakme India Fashion Week. Dressed in sleeveless green Levi’s T-shirt, jaded blue jeans, leather boots and sun glasses, Akshay walked the ramp in true macho style. Everything was going expectedly until Akshay decided spring a surprise when one of the models on the ramp stepped forward to unzip Akshay’s denims. But Akshay said no to her by waving his one finger and took everyone by surprise when he asked his wife to do so.

Akshay Kumar walked towards his wife Twinkle Khanna, who was seated in the front row and asked her to unbutton his jeans during the fashion show. Twinkle blushed momentarily, but Akshay took her hands and asked her to do the act. And she did so, invoking loud cheers from the crowd.

“It’s great to be unbuttoned by your wife,” Akshay Kumar said when asked about the act.
