Robbie Williams Plans New Album

Singer Robbie Williams will be releasing a new music album in 2009. His manager Tim Clark said that earlier the singer was was reluctant to deliver another album to record label EMI, after its takeover by private equity firm Terra Firma.

Tim Clark said: “I would certainly hope that a new album will be coming next year. There are never any guarantees but that’s what we would hope.”

He also added: “He’s been writing and we heard some wonderful stuff. I was with Robbie last week. He was at home and he was writing songs and he played some of them to us.”

There have been some claims that Robbie Williams was working on an alien-themed record due to an interest in UFOs. Tim cleared that it was not true.
