Illegal Bangladeshi migrants attacked Assam Village

By Assam on October 4, 2008

In separate clashes between ethnic Bodo people and illegal Bangladeshi migrants, at least 25 people lost their lives in Udalguri, Darrang and Sonitpur districts of Assam. The trouble started on Thursday after a group of people belonging to the minority community allegedly stole some cattle from the Bodo-dominated Mohanpur village in Udalguri district. They did it, because they thinks that Assam is a grazing ground for them. The Bodo villagers quickly attacked them and the clashes followed.

Udalguri Clashes

Udalguri Clashes

Then, illegal Bangladeshi attacked Sonaripara and Jhargaon villages in the wee hours with bows and arrows. They also torched several houses in the two villages. Later, the violence spread to Darrang district, where over 30 houses were burnt down and several injured at Besimari and Balabari villages. Army had to stage a flag march in Kopati area of Darrang district and police had resorted to firing in several places in the two districts to disperse violent mobs.

After the clashes, curfew was imposed in Udalguri town area from 4 am today. It was relaxed between 3 pm and 5 pm and then re-imposed with effect from 5 pm. The curfew will continue till 5 am tomorrow.

The civil administration in Udlaguri has opened several relief camps to shelter the affected Bodo people. According to a news report, more than 1, 200 people belonging to the Bodo and Adivasi communities have left their homes for safety reasons.

Meanwhile, media persons saw a Pakistani flag in Sonaripara and Mohanpur villages and took photographs of them. Local television channels also ran footage of the flags. What does it means? It means that those were illegal, shameless Bangladeshis who attacked ethnic people and their intention is to turn India into Pakistan. Nonsense.

So, illegal Bangladeshi migrants now can dare to attack Indian people. What people of India are doing? What Central government is doing? Why they don’t start a flush out drive to deport Bangladeshi’s from Indian land? In present scenario, some hard steps must be taken both by authorities and citizens. Otherwise by there will be more clashes of this kind. Wake up India, wake up. Stop helping Bangladesh, otherwise they will climb over your head!

this is true.this is all a mess created by Congress ,since the last fifty years bangladeshi vote banks created by this party in our mother land has turned into a toxic waste .The so called mainstream do not care, what we are sufering from ,are least bothered to look into the affairs of this region.I haven’t seen any news channel telecasting photographs or live coverage of the incident ,had it been in other parts of the country this would have been highlighted a thousand times.lets be united to face this aggression by these illegal immigrants.ijustread a column somewhere where it was mentioned that this all is an ethnic cleansing done by the Bodos. its shameful to read such a column its our land we were born there its our mother land and now it feels like as if are on the defensive.people of this country should understand that the same bangladeshis who were once in tatters are now going to become kings and sulemans of this land.some say that its because of their hardwork ,yes we undersatnd that its their hardwork that they are now going to snatch our rights on our own land.although point to be noted that when these garib people came running to our shores it was our own kindness that they could survive in this land today do we see any gratefulnes ?

enough of begging of help from these mainstream people now we need to take this problem in our own hands sons of soil need to be together .bodos, assamese, nagas, meiteis, khasis, kacharis every one have to come together to fight these bangladeshis.
its owr mother lets save her.LONG LIVE UNITED NORTH EAST.
