World’s Largest Candy Mosaic

More than 4,000 employees at the west London office park has created a new and ’sweet’ world record with the help of members of the local community. They created a giant 40 square metres (48 square yards) mosaic depicting major attractions of London, out of 250,000 Smarties and broke the Guinness World Record for Largest Mosaic made entirely of Sweets or Candy. Largest Edible Mosaic
An adjudicator for Guinness World Records confirmed the new record. The previous record was achieved by the Calderdale Education Service in Halifax on February 4-5, 2006. Their mosaic was 37.126 square metres in area.
London Candy Mosaic
The candy mosaic was designed to promote London to tourists and it depicted major attractions of London including the London Eye, Big Ben, the Royal Albert Hall and Wembley Stadium. Now, it will be moved to an office building in the park until early August.

Air New Zealand conducts first biofuel test flight

On Tuedsay, Air New Zealand created a new aviation history by successfully conducting the world’s first ever commercial aviation test flight powered by fuel from the seeds of the African jatropha plant.
