How is popcorn being made? The popcorn is a type of flint corn. These corns have very hard outer shells that are call the kernels. Corns are also very starchy inside. You have to dry roast the corns in a specific way to make them pop out.
In every popcorn kernel, there is a small amount of water inside a circle of starch. The amount of water encircles the hard outer surface of the kernel. The reason why is that water always expends and furthermore with the corresponding pressure holding against the starch when the corn is being heated.
That’s not all. The corn will continue to push the hard surface, making it bust right open immediately. The reason for that to happen is because the soft starch inside the kernel will start to inflate and burst out. This will turn the core inside out and as a result you will get fluffy and tasty popcorn.
With such a wide variety of popcorn machines available in the market to choose from, you may find it hard to choose the right popcorn machine. Just like any other machines, popcorn machines come in many different shapes and sizes. A smaller in size popcorn machines are specially made for home as it is easier to use too.

If children are going to operate the popcorn machine, it is wise if the machine is child-friendly so that it is easier and safe for them to operate the machine.
